Because the answer usually isn’t more of what you’ve already done.

Most approaches work at the level of the story: understanding what happened, reframing how you think about it, building new habits on top of old foundations. That can be genuinely useful. But it doesn’t always get to what’s actually maintaining the thing. And if something hasn’t shifted after real effort, that’s usually why.

What I do

I find what’s actually in the way. Then I clear it.
